Stand in Union - Join the movement today

Membership to The Union supports you in many ways, including:

Influence through collaboration

Develop solutions to key problems in lung health and increase your influence through collaboration.

  • Shape the future of lung health: Join a scientific section and work with other members to drive changes in lung health, impact public health policies, and champion change.
  • Join forces to create change locally: Coordinate with other members and organisations in your region. Develop conferences, workshops, newsletters and other projects that help promote lung heath locally.
  • Find partners and collaborators: Members gain access to a global database of clinicians, researchers, allied health professionals, policy leaders, community leaders and advocates.
  • Drive content to influence global events: Members collaborate to shape the scientific content of the Union World Conference on Lung Health, through the Coordinating Committee of Scientific Activities.

Learn through connection

Grow and learn through expert-led learning programmes and activities:

  • Contribute to knowledge sharing on an international level: Members shape the scientific programme of the Union World Conference on Lung Health and benefit from reduced registration rates; they organise regional conferences where they meet to discuss lung health challenges closer to home.
  • Enhance your continuous learning: Union courses enable members to learn clinical expertise, management skills and solutions through research and advocacy from experts in the field.  Members receive discounts on courses.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific news: Access The Union’s monthly peer-reviewed journal, the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease.
  • Learn together online:  Participate in one of our many member-exclusive webinars. Developed by members for members, and delivered by experts on crucial and timely science and research.

  • Extend your reach: Write an article for the member-exclusive newsletter. Distributed to members monthly, it provides a platform to profile your work; enabling collaboration and knowledge sharing.
